Greetings!

I’m Anastasia, a Greek illustrator, based in Portugal, intermittently in transit.
 
This website was made to share my patchwork of a portfolio, chaotic interests and love of illustration. Every so often I enjoy communicating my thoughts about art related subjects or ambiguously journaling but basically, I just really love to paint.

My favourite tools of the trade are water based mixed media and simple drawing materials: egg-tempera and watercolours; pencils and graphite. My preferred painting surfaces are heavy aquarella papers, miscellaneous sketchbooks or some of those cute scrapbook sheets. I enjoy making my illustrations look and feel as organic and tangible as possible.

Every now and then I also like to dabble with terracotta air dry clay, linocuts or instant photography.
For the odd digital disposition I work with Krita.

For better or worse I'm easily distracted by new ideas and tend to work simultaneously and very slowly on various different projects; looking forward to sharing them eventually.
