Greetings!

I’m Anastasia, a Greek illustrator, intermittently in transit between Athens and Portugal.
 
This website was made to share my patchwork of a portfolio, chaotic interests and love of illustration. Every so often I enjoy communicating my thoughts about art related subjects or ambiguously journaling but basically, I just really love to paint.

My favourite tools of the trade are water based mixed media and simple drawing materials: egg-tempera and aquarella; pencils and graphite. My preferred working surfaces are heavy watercolour papers and miscellaneous sketchbooks. I enjoy making my illustrations look and feel as organic and tangible as possible.

For fun I like to dabble with terracotta air dry clay and instant photography.
For the odd digital disposition I work with Krita.

For better or worse I'm easily distracted by new ideas and tend to work simultaneously and very slowly on various different projects; looking forward to sharing them eventually.
