Greetings!

I’m Anastasia, a Greek illustrator, intermittently in transit between Athens and Portugal.
 
This website was made to share my patchwork of a portfolio, chaotic interests and love of illustration. Every so often I like to share my spare thoughts about art or journal ambiguously but basically, I just really love to paint.

My favourite tools of the trade are water based mixed media and simple drawing materials: egg-tempera and aquarella; pencils and ink. My preferred working surfaces are heavy watercolour papers and varied sketchbooks. My hope is to create organic, tangible and textured illustrations. I think art should also be a sensorial experience.

For that reason I also enjoy air dry clay, linocuts and Polaroids; but that's a different story.
For the odd digital disposition I use Krita.

In any case, I'm easily distracted by new ideas and tend to work simultaneously and slowly on various different projects; looking forward to sharing them eventually.
